Josh Price, Founder and Managing Editor

Josh Price is a conservative political strategist and campaign manager. He has managed and consulted on both local and state-wide political campaigns.

In 2008, Josh used his political and managerial experience to start the conservative political blog, The Conservative Beacon. Using what his English professor described as a “knack for cutting through political nonsense,” Josh immediately differentiated The Conservative Beacon from the rest of the conservative media by offering readers insightful and concise conservative commentary. It has become the demonstrable alternative to the regurgitated GOP talking points and platitudes which dominate much of the content on many sites in the conservative blogosphere.

Josh further distinguished The Conservative Beacon from other political blogs by securing interviews with experts from topic-related fields and some of the most influential players in American politics, business, history, and entertainment, including:

  • former Commander-in-Chief United States Central Command, four-star General Tommy Franks;
  • United States Senator Jim DeMint;
  • former head of the CIA’s Osama Bin Laden Unit, Michael Scheuer;
  • terrorism expert Steve Emerson; and
  • renowned historian H.W. Brands

In early 2010, Josh announced that The Conservative Beacon would continue to aggressively advocate unabashed conservatism by incorporating podcasting to its media arsenal. He reached an agreement to bring the intellectual conservatism of WorldNetDaily columnist, author, and conservative radio host Ellis Washington to The Conservative Beacon Podcast on a weekly basis.

Also in early 2010, Josh reached an agreement to bring the quick wit and unique humor of former Atlanta conservative radio host Kim “The Kimmer” Peterson to The Conservative Beacon for a weekly podcast covering political and cultural topics.

Josh has made appearances on conservative talk radio, including The Washington Report with Ellis Washington and The Savage Nation with Michael Savage. He has been quoted on Slate.com,VillageVoice.com (obviously the liberals are well aware of him), and the Investigative Project on Terrorism.

Josh is committed to vehemently advocating and advancing traditional conservatism in politics and culture.

He is a native of Atlanta. He holds an A.A. in Business Administration from Gainesville State College and has extensive experience in political campaign management and consulting.

Jeff Kuhner, Contributor

Jeffrey T. Kuhner is a columnist at The Washington Times. His column appears every Friday. Jeff’s column is consistently one of the most read and popular in The Times’ Commentary section. Furthermore, Jeff is the president of the Edmund Burke Institute, a Washington think tank devoted to integrating minorities and women into the conservative movement. Jeff is the editor-in-chief of EBI’s monthly magazine, Reflections.

Jeff is a conservative nationalist, who champions God, country and family. His show deals with cutting-edge, hot-button political, social and foreign policy issues. Jeff is one of the most vocal and principled critics of the Obama regime. Jeff defends free-market capitalism, traditional family values and winning the war against radical Islam.

For his outspoken and passionate views, Jeff has become a major target of the liberal establishment and its media allies—including The New York Times, The Washington Post, MSNBC, CNN and Media Matters (as well as other George Soros-funded groups). He wears their hostility as a badge of honor. Jeff regularly exposes and combats the moral and intellectual bankruptcy at the heart of the modern left. He is also known as “Liberalism’s Worst Nightmare.”

Jeff staunchly believes that personal responsibility, self-help, self-reliance, strong nuclear families, a quality education and a commitment to the American Dream are the keys to success for all Americans—especially, minorities and women who for too long have been duped by the liberal ruling elite into accepting the false promises of statism, feminism and multiculturalism. Jeff’s mission is to expose the destructive nature of secular liberalism; it is the ideology of suicide.

Jeff was born in Montreal, Canada on Sept. 1, 1969. He is the son of Croatian immigrants, who fled communist Yugoslavia. Jeff’s heroes are Ronald Reagan, John Paul II and Alexander Solzhenitsyn—uncompromising anti-communists, who stood for freedom and human dignity against totalitarianism. Jeff believes that America is an exceptional nation; it is the last bastion of the West. Europe is collapsing amidst a cultural and demographic crisis; it is slowly dying from moral relativism, shallow secularism and economic sclerosis. America stands alone. Only America can defeat the twin evils of Islamic terrorism and the liberal culture of death.

Jeff is a historian; his area of expertise is modern American history. He did his doctoral coursework at Ohio University. He taught U.S. history at McGill University in Montreal from 1998-2000. Disgusted with the political correctness and sterile intellectual environment prevalent in academia, Jeff decided to make a career change into journalism. From 2000 until 2003, he served as the assistant national editor at The Washington Times. He then became the communications director at The Ripon Society, a Republican policy institute in Washington.

In 2005, Jeff became the editor of Insight magazine, a weekly Internet political intelligence magazine and sister publication of The Washington Times. In that role, Jeff became a nationally known media figure—appearing on numerous television and talk radio programs. Jeff emerged as a major critic of Barack Obama during the 2008 election, seeking to hold him accountable and warn the American public about his radical leftist agenda. This is also when media enemies—especially, The New York Times—sought to smear and slander Jeff through lies and character assassination in a desperate attempt to destroy his credibility. Yet, they failed. Jeff’s career continues to sky-rocket. He is a frequent guest-host on the “Savage Nation” and the “Jerry Doyle Show.”
