Ah the 70’s! Remember that movie “Animal House” and it’s debasing of our society by making fun of it at our expense? I’m not speaking as a hypocrite, just an “enlightened” citizen.
Being a high school student at the time, I was able to pick up on the suggestiveness of the sex, drugs, and rock and roll being acted out by the picture, as all of my friends were at the time, without a lot of imagination. Later on, having watched it years after Ronald Reagan had, for a short period of time, restored what the anti-Americans of Hollywood had torn down in the pinnacle of their fever pitch, I saw the real targets of the film. And the “entertainment value” has long since washed away. It was my culture as an American and the people I called family and friends who were the real targets of ridicule. Making fun of being respectable; choosing common sense and personal responsibility over being lazy and destructive; and purposely ruining the entire culture of all the others around you just because you’re a malcontent along with painting false narratives of citizens in positions of responsibility came to be one of Hollywood’s most dangerous weapons. What a sad waste of time and lives, but thanks to Information Technology, we can make these comparison critiques at a speed that is the envy of every neo-Marxist.
I bring in the movie Animal House because of that famous line of the character Dean Wormer trying to show his “perceived” power over a group of people (The Delta House) to whom he had given too many breaks over infractions of the rules in past. (That would be the equivalent of Americans trusting Republicans of previous Congresses to stay the “conservative” path.) This compromised his position as a leader and forced him to use the term “double secret probation” to support his power rhetorically. He looked ridiculous. I find the scene unnervingly similar to the American people and the Tea Parties who have put the Republican Party on notice to do the right thing and reverse this course of socialism put forth by President Obama, the Democrats, and their Crony Capitalist friends.
The Democrats (our current day Delta House) have not only no intention of changing course but the dirty truth is the laws passed by the 111th Congress are still coming to life. The Republicans need to not only keep trying to repeal them but they need to be out in the open about it and not keep the debate behind-closed-doors as the character Dean Wormer tried to do. It is not a sign of weakness to Americans to be open about debate – it is our hallmark. Parliamentary procedures need to be used to stop the lawlessness of the Democrats. Their friends in the media will only be see those procedures as “dirty tricks” and hopefully will experience extreme emotional stress over it.
The Communist/Democrat/Hollywood leftists made fun of John Boehner’s emotional outpouring on election night. That means they hate him for it and they’re afraid of that kind of emotion. Love of country is the emotion of fighters, not submitters.
We’re now learning – but not being surprised by – the Hamiltonian-style Republicans putting up barriers to the Tea Party-backed elected officials. The “wave” of this election is still in motion! The power of natural law unleashed the wave.
Not even 24 hours after the fallout of the election had descended, Republicans had already begun to backtrack and give us “pragmatic” speak. Don’t do it RNC. We’ll catch you even faster because we already know your double speak. To make it worse for you, the dynamic of instant communication expands at an exponential rate. You have more to prove and even less time to prove it. To quote the character of Dean Wormer, “No more fun of any kind!”
Ps. TP stands for Tea Party and not Toga Party…don’t try it.
